In the context, this paper try to use pull-style supply chain management principle seeking solutions for automotive supply chain inefficienciesFirst of all, through research the supply chain, push/pull theory of supply chain management and supply chain architecture of automotive manufacturing, analysis the differences of push and pull supply chain, explained the importance of supply chain process management in automotive industry. Review the push/pull supply chain in automotive companies, revealing the relationship between push and pull supply chain in the automobile business.Second, establish the profit model of push/pull in un-integrated supply chain manufactures, obtain the relation between profits and output function. Through analysis the model, it can be argued that in a single cycle of 2 level supply chain, pull supply chain is more favorable to manufactures.Then, use B company as an example to research the thesis, describe the current situation of supply chain management in B company, find out the problem exist in supply chain management and the necessity of improvement, analysis the application advantage of pull supply chain in B company, proposed change steps of B company's supply chain model. At last, summarized the strategic significance the change bring to B company.
