Research Into A New Road Of Urbanization: Take And Example Of Gansu Province

The well-known economist, Joseph E.Stiglitz, considers urbanization in China as well as the high-tech in America as one of the critical factors impacting human development in 21st Century. Urbanization within China will continually do its own contributions to the regional development all over the world.Urbanization is one product when social productive force develops to a certain degree. It is a sort of concept which is constantly changing. As a result of its rich intension and characteristic, new requirements are put forward for the urbanization.Industrialization and informationization as well as modernization are driving urbanization since 2002. The theme of vision of scientific development is overall plans, so there are many new requirements for the urbanization. New pattern urbanization has a great many fresh traits such as urban-rural comprehensive development, intensive development, environmental amenity, social harmony, distinguishing feature, ecological sustainment and so on. it has received increasing importance.This paper contains two main parts, including the ways of new pattern urbanization and the strategic concept on urbanization within Gansu province. The first one is prolegomenon which introduces the research background and significance as well as methods; The second one comprises the research progress on the urbanization all over the world; The third one constructs the theory of new pattern urbanization, elaborating the its intension and characteristic; The fourth one contains the overall merit and analysis on the level of urbanization and development of Gansu province; The fifth one puts forward strategies for the new pattern urbanization within Gansu province; The last one gives some readjustment plans as well as prioritization schemes based on the three major structures of the urban system, strategy of development of urbanization of Gansu Province.
