Research On The Development Of Lake Recreational Vacation Tour In China

Along with economical growth, the improvement of living standard and the paid vacation increase, recreational vacation tour market has become an important tourism market. China's tourism industry no longer stays in the full expansion period of traditional tourism demand, but gradually leaps over the diverse needs of leisure to the expansion stage of recreational vacation tour. Accordingly, recreational vacation tour, which is a high level travel, becomes popularly in our country and is an important way to relax, sport for fitness and spend leisure time.Different from foreign developed areas, which regard costal resorts as dominated modes, lake-resort in our country is the main destination for recreational vacation tour at present. However, owing to the late start, recreational vacation tour that relies on lake is a new thing in China and its development is immature. As follows:most lakes, which are in the stage of wait-and-see, wander and preparation, are experiencing from tourism lake to recreational vacation tour lake. They lack intension and products concerning vacation tour. Lake tourism resorts, which are not of clear images, have low finance and face a series of water pollution. All these problems make them have difficulties to adapt to rapid development of vacation tour demand. Domestic and foreign scholars mainly focus on the costal resorts, spa resorts, and village resorts and so on, but have a few researches on lake tourism. A small number of scholars, who study on the lake tourism, only get their eyes on eastern region's lakes but on vast central and western regions. This article tries to capture the overall development of recreational vacation tour in our country, from the current development and research situations. On this basis, this paper proposes a few development ideas and recommendations in order to make recreational vacation tour develop sustainably.The paper is divided into five parts. The fist part is an introduction, including the research background and significance, the study contents, research methods and innovation. The second part is about the concepts and the domestic and foreign research summarizes of lake vacation tour, meanwhile, points out the current situations and weaknesses of lake vacation tour research. The third part aims at the characteristics of vacation tour, originally brings the ecological environment factor as tourist resources. Through the vacation tour market conditions, lake tourism resources, and the regional background conditions, it shows that our country has the qualification to develop lakes vacation tour. The forth part analyzes the development history and current status about the domestic and foreign vacation tour, and points out the development process issues of vacation tour in China. The fifth part is case studies. It mainly summarizes the success factors and issues about Kunming Dian-chi Lake and Suzhou Tai-hub Lake. The sixth part studies on the development ideas about our country's lake vacation tour and finally proposes specific development principles and ideas.
