The Study Of County Finance In Shandong Province

County economy is the combination of the urban economy and rural economy as well as the important component of the whole national economy. Thus, the study of county economy plays a significant role in the realization of regional economic growth. Shandong is a powerful province of economy, however, the economic development is not balanced. Especially the economic gap between the eastern and western region is constantly widening. Only by coordinating the rural and urban development can the economic development of Shandong province be promoted. County finance, as the important component of county economy, has made irreplaceable contributions to economic development.On the basis of using the theories correlative to regional economics and multivariate statistics, the author adopts the research methods of empirical analysis, standard analysis as well as comparative analysis. This paper consists five parts. The first part is Introduction which begins with the motivation of topic selection, the significance of the research, present research situation, research thoughts and methods, innovation and weakness of the paper. The second part is Literature Review which includes the theories correlative to county finance and regional economics, such as the definition of county economy, the definition and characteristics of county finance. The third part mainly discusses and analyzes the present situation and restrictive factors of the development of county finance of Shandong province. According to the general view of the development of the county economy in Shandong, the author first divides Shandong province into different regions, and then analyzes the total amount of county finance from such perspectives as the distribution of financial institutions and the amount of savings deposits of residents. Finally, the author makes a comparative analysis of county financial structure from such perspectives as income ratio and deposit-loan difference. The fourth part is the empirical analysis of county finance and county economy of Shandong province. On the basis of an empirical panel-data analysis, the author establishes the corresponding analysis model. Because there are so many counties concerned in the research, the author makes the empirical analysis according to the geographic division of Shandong province. The fifth part lays out the strategic conception of promoting the development of county finance of Shandong province. According to the actual situation of county finance of Shandong province, on the basis of the results of empirical analysis in the fourth part, the author puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions of the development of county finance of Shandong province from such three perspectives as economy, financial system and financial infrastructure.
