In the 21st century, we are entering a new era of the knowledge-based economy. When knowledge capital plays a decisive role in the development of productivity, knowledge has become one of the most important elements of corporate resources, and the knowledge workers are the carrier of knowledge. They can always generate, use and appreciate their knowledge effectively. Many corporate spend a lot of time on the motivaion of knowledge workers. This paper has reviewed the motivation of knowledge workers from the view of career management.According to experts'research, this paper first analyzed the characteristics of knowledge workers, and explained the specificity of career management on knowledge workers. And then, I constructed a system about career management of knowledge workers, and proposed a hypothesis: the motivation of the career could improve the satisfaction and loyalty of knowledge workers. Then I showed experimental studies by way of a questionnaire survey. Lastly, I gave some advice for the application of the model. In my opinion, corporation should pay their attention on the culture designing, career designing and training designing. The motivation should be a unite of culture-based, career development-orientated, and accompanied by perfect training, then it can achieve a maximum effect in the whole. I hope this paper could give some help to the corporation.
