Study On The Tacit Knowledge Management Of The Contractor

The 21st century is a new economic time. In this new time, knowledge has surpassed labor and capital, to be the most important factor of an enterprise's survival and development. As the source of the core competence, enterprises are paying more attention to the tacit knowledge. At the present time, domestic and international researches on knowledge management have begun in large numbers, however, researches on the contractor's project knowledge management are still scarce, particularly on contractor's tacit knowledge management that are still little.Contractor is the builder of the project entities, and they have accumulated a great deal of practical experience in the process of building the project, which we called tacit knowledge will loss with the dissolution of the project department. Therefore, to research the tacit knowledge management of the contractors will help us to improve the current situation, and it will promote the development of the whole construction industry and thus create greater benefits for the community. This article will focus on the contractor's enterprise management of tacit knowledge.Firstly, the article based on the enterprise-level management of tacit knowledge, and then it combined enterprise management theory, project management theory, knowledge management, intellectual capital theory with each other, and pointed out that the investigated subject was contractor's tacit knowledge capital which included human recourse capital, cultural capital, leadership qualities. Second, it detailedly studied the influences and obstacles of contractor's tacit knowledge management from man, tacit, environment. According to the analysis, the article resolved tacit knowledge exchange between the staff and externalization of construction enterprise's tacit knowledge within the group thinking with the model on tacit knowledge transfer based on contagious differential dynamic and hall for workshop of metasythetic engineering. Integrated with contractor's building of enterprise culture, organization structure, communication platform and excitation mechanism, it establish a complete mechanism for contractor's tacit knowledge management. At last, the article took First Harbor Engineering Company Led's tacit knowledge management as an empirical analysis, integrated with article's preliminary study, to provide a reference model for how to carry out the tacit knowledge management for the other contractors.
