Construct Analysis Of The Sb Tacit Knowledge Management Mechanism

Under current fast changing and fiercely competitive environment, tacit knowledge management is widely recognized as an effective and essential means for enterprises to obtain sustainable competitive advantage. By now, scholars have done lots of theoretical research on the definition, characteristics, structure, flow, and conversion of tacit knowledge with many literatures. However, they seldom touched upon how to apply the theories to enterprise management practice, so that enable enterprise to obtain sustainable competitive advantage by accumulating knowledge.To complete this dissertation, the author has done extensive theoretical and empirical research, reading and interviewing, and employed qualitative and quantitative methods. The purpose is to examine how to apply the management theory to enterprise management practice, solve the problems related to enterprise tacit knowledge management, and enable enterprise to obtain sustainable competitive advantage by accumulating knowledge.Based on the tacit knowledge management theory, and the management practice of SB Company– a high tech software company, this dissertation illuminates how to establish tacit knowledge management mechanism in SB Company to solve its existing problems, and evaluates the established system.This dissertation introduces a tacit knowledge management mechanism model based on tacit knowledge management platform. In this model, the tacit knowledge management mechanism includes the creation, conversion, sharing and utilization of tacit knowledge. The tacit knowledge management platform supports tacit knowledge management mechanism, thus its establishment is very important.
