Research On Influences And Countermeasures Of Technical Barriers To Trade On Chinese Agricultural Products

At present, technical barriers to trade, which is characterized by invisibility, flexibility and apparently rationality, has become the most popular trade barriers used by developed countries. Since our country is a big agricultural country, agricultural products is our traditional competitive export all the time. Because of the influences of TBT used by developed countries on our agricultural products, our country suffers a terrible lose each year. Therefore, the meaning and purpose of this thesis are to study on the impact of TBT on agricultural products, helping export corporations to break though it as soon as possible and developing the trade of agricultural products. On the basis of summarizing the available researched documents and trade theories, this paper analyses not only the whole TBT impact on agricultural products, but also the situation of each kind of TBT affecting agricultural products by using the way of empiricism. Finally, on the basis of empirical analysis results, it makes practical suggestions to our export corporations on how to break though the technical barriers to trade on our agricultural products.
