Influence Of Green Trade Barriers To China's Exports Of Agricultural Products

As an agricultural country,China's agricultural product export trade is an important factor to promote agriculture's development.Japan has been the biggest importing country of China's agricultural products.China's agricultural products exports to Japan gradually rise since China's Reform & Opening up.But in recent years,Japan has introduced more and more stringent green barriers to trade system,especially after Japan positive list system in 2006.Inspection procedures of Imports of agricultural products and its processed products become more multifarious,and the quality standards are improved.All these have a certain influence on China's exports of agricultural products.To find the reason of green trade barriers,and analyze the impact of green trade barriers on China's agricultural exports is to be solved.First,this paper studies the scholars on the green trade barriers.Second,this paper systematically analyzes the present situation of China's agricultural products export and the present situation of Japanese agricultural imports,and then analyzes the Japanese system of green trade barrier and its possible influence on agricultural product import restrictions,finally do empirical analysis on the Japanese the influence of green trade barriers on China's agricultural products trade exports based on the trade gravity model with China-Japan agricultural trade data between 1992 and 2015.The conclusions of this paper are the followings.First,Japan's green trade barriers have effects on China's main agricultural export.China's agricultural exports reduce with Japan's green trade barriers' increase.Second,as China's agricultural exports pesticide chemicals residues detection standard improve,compared with China's GDP and Japan's GDP and the exchange rate between Japanese Yan and RMB,green trade barriers are not main effecting factors in China's agricultural exports to Japan.The writer makes the following policy recommends to reply green trade barriers and expand China's agricultural exports: first,government should strengthen supervision on agricultural production management,and actively introduce modern farm universal,and set food safety management system,establish agricultural export reply system,and exploit diversified agricultural trade pattern;second,export enterprise and the producers should obey government's management and do not abuse drug,quicken up the rate to learn target markets' green trade barriers,establish export enterprise brands,speed up transition of production mode,and establish pesticide residues testing laboratory and product traceability systems.
