A Study On The Export Trade Of Agricultural Products From China To South Korea

China and South Korea are adjacent to the sea with a long history of economic and trade exchanges,growing rapidly in the scale of trade.In the field of China-Korea trade,agricultural products trade occupies an important position.Since 2010,China has become the second largest source of imports of South Korean agricultural products and South Korea is the fourth-largest exporter of Chinese agricultural products.China's development of agriculture has the advantages of resources and human resources costs,while South Korea has advanced technological advantages,so the two economies are highly complementary.The potential to further deepen cooperation is huge,and the development of economic and trade cooperation has a unique favorable conditions.But in order to protect its own agriculture,South Korea has formulated a series of harsh trade barriers and non-trade barriers,which makes the trade friction between the two countries occur from time to time,and limits the export of Chinese agricultural products and the diversified demand of South Korean agricultural products market.Therefore,It is of great practical significance to study the export trade of agricultural products from China to South Korea in promoting China's agricultural exports and deepening China-Korea cooperation.It can not only promote the development of China's agricultural products export trade,but also promote the development of China's agricultural products export trade,and will enrich the South Korean agricultural trade market,better meeting the needs of the Korean market.The first part of this paper introduces the background of the topic and the significance of the research,clarifies the ideas and methods,indicates the possible innovation and deficiency,and defines the agricultural products of the two countries.The second part summarizes the domestic and foreign literature about the present situation,problems and comparative advantages of China-Korea agricultural products trade,and influence of technical barriers to trade on agricultural trade.It is found that China has obvious surplus advantage in agricultural trade between the two countries,and its export trade with South Korea is highly complementary,but agricultural products are highly dependent on the Korean market and their competitive advantage is declining.The third part starts with the scale,competition,combination and complementarity of export trade,and chooses the representative trade index to analyze the current situation of China's agricultural products export to South Korea.The fourth part analyzes the the main problems of China's agricultural products export to South Korea on the basis of reviewing and combing the frictions of China's agricultural products export to South Korea,founding that there are frequent incidents of agricultural trade frictions between China and South Korea.On the one hand,the quality of China's own agricultural products and the ability of export enterprises to deal with risks need to be improved,but the various forms of non-tariff trade barriers in South Korea are also too strict.And the imperfection of trade dispute settlement mechanism also promotes the occurrence of friction to a certain extent.Then the fifth part focuses on the influencing factors of China's development on the export trade of South Korean agricultural products,especially the biggest problem faced by exports,the Korean Technical barriers to Trade,chooses the trade gravity model to carry on the empirical research,to analyzes the impact of TBT on China's agricultural exports.The results show that South Korea has set up strict technical barriers to trade by virtue of its own technical advantages,which has significantly restrained the development of Chinese agricultural products to its export trade.The last part is the research conclusion and countermeasure suggestion of this paper.On the basis of the research above,this paper draw conclusions,and puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions on the problems that hinder and restrict the development of agriculture trade between the two countries,especially the deficiency of China itself.
