Study On Construction Of Learning Organization

"Learning organization"is a popular topic in current organization management and is constantly adopted by a number of enterprises, governments, research institutes and so on. Many domestic enterprises also use the learning organization theory to carry out learning organization construction for the purpose of improving adaptability and competitiveness. However, some enterprises have got in the"false learning organization"since they deem learning organization activity as simple organization learning, training and popularization. To deeply and systematically understand and research the construction system of learning enterprises, this paper discusses the basic idea and practice on construction of learning enterprise based on theoretical study and case analysis on learning organization, with main contents as follows:From the connotation of the learning organization, theory of learning organization is summarized and interpreted by discussing the characteristics of learning organization, its differences with traditional organization, and"Five Disciplines"model of Peter M. Senge. On that basis, success and failure cases of construction of learning organization by foreign enterprises are analyzed; by taking Rudong County Power Supply Company (RCPSC) as an example, details of practice adopted by RCPSC is introduced, problems in the construction process of RCPSC and relevant measures are specifically analyzed, and description is made in an intuitively way with specific cases. Finally, suggestions and measures are put forward by the combination of theory knowledge of learning organization and conclusion & analysis on creating learning organization of RCPSC, i.e. to strengthen the awareness of efficiency in respect of learning enterprise construction and grasp the principle; to sort out levels and steps for construction of learning enterprise and focus on organizing and pushing broad participation at all levels in a step-by-step manner; and to form effective mechanisms for construction of learning enterprise, including query, incentive, education and innovation mechanisms.In this paper, the topic comes from practice, and practice and theory is combined with each other. As a participator of the construction of learning enterprise in RCPSC, the author analyzes a great number of cases based on the conditions of the enterprise and especially emphasizes that it's necessary to identify levels, sort out steps, improve measures and focus on efficiency during construction of learning enterprise in hope of providing other domestic enterprises with suggestions and references during construction of learning enterprise through study and discussion on construction of learning enterprise.
