The travel demand in the market analysis can improve the capacity of assessment, prediction and understanding of tourist behavior. With the reformation of the holiday system and the transformation and upgrading of tourism, short distance, near, inexpensive travel gradually become concerned about the forms of tourism, coupled with the gradual spread of private car, the tourism of northern Guangdong province have good prospects for tourism market development.Based on the tourism, statistics, behavioral science and other disciplines knowledge, through the questionnaire survey to obtain the first-hand data, this article make a quantitative analysis on the characters of mountain leisure demand on the people of Guangzhou Pearl River Delta residents, summary characteristics of mountain leisure and tourism demand, and then targeted tourism development proposal.Through research, this article draws the main tourist attraction in northern Guangdong province is short, well arranged, less costly and easy to peer with relatives and friends. Affect people choose to travel in northern Guangdong province factor is the main obstacle to repeat the construction of scenic spots, the product a single, crowded, tourist ineffective, seasonal tourism products. Public's primary motivation to travel is relax, concern about the spirit of enjoyment and self-development. Followed by consideration for human relationships, emphasis on interpersonal communication and emotion, desire to enhance the feelings of colleagues and family members. General option weekend or free time to mountain tourism,and tend to Peer with family members. The first concerned transport is car. The primary channel for tourist information is recommended by friends and relatives, followed by the Internet. Mountain, forest landscape, water landscape and water sports, spa and joy, rural landscape are favorite spots for tourism destinations. The most important factor which influence consumer decision making is transportation, destination tourism environment, attractive tourism products. Above all, this article put forward three mountains of the northern Guangdong province leisure tourism development proposal: tourism product development, marketing and tourism plan.
