Research On SME Converged Communications Based On Softswitch And Enterprise Gateway

With the rapid development of soft switch, the demand of SMEs(Small and Medium Enterprises) for voice, data, video, and multimedia services is increasing. At the same time, for various scenarios of gateway products are also emerging.Then the use of soft switch platform and enterprise gateway products which provide SMEs with integrated communication solutions, will significantly enhance operator competitiveness of their products.In order to meet the needs of SME converged communications, enhance the ability of communication services for SMEs, this thesis proposed converged communications solutions which are based on softswitch and enterprise gateways with the actual situation of Beijing Telecom network, and gave the on-site verification for typical applications combined with the current network pilot experiment.The thesis first analized the network resource status of Beijing Telecom, then according to different types of communication needs of SMEs, proposed the integration of communication solutions. The enterprise gateway products of different manufacturers are tested to determine whether to meet program requirements. Furthermore, the thesis put forward the tariff proposal and operation mode for the convergence solutions, in order to achieve rapid market operations.
