Land-related conflicts are the main problems that China is confronting during the acceleration of the urbanization. There are many types as well as many definitions of land-related conflicts. Land-related conflicts in rural China, as an important part of all the conflicts, not only includes the long-existed illeagal occupation of lands, especially farming lands, but the disputes brought up by land requisition.This dissertation reviews researches about land-related conflicts home and abroad, combining the present development of urbanization in Jiangxi province and first-hand land-related conflicts resources in rural Jiangxi, analyses the phenomenon. Jiangxi, a comparatively underdeveloped province in the central part of China, is in the acceleration of urbanization. However, the net increase of urban built-up area and the the urban population density are still low. Jiangxi has also encountered a lot of problems during it. Illeagal occupation of lands and the land-requsition disputes are the main issues.This dissertation divides land-related conflicts in rural area into illeagal occupation of lands and leagal use of lands, making up a model based on game theory. Typical types of land-related conflicts have been chosen to be analysed. Behaviors of local government and peasant have been analysed, and proposals about solution to these problems and furthering study have been made.
