With the quick economic development of China, the architecture design market is expanding while the competition is becoming more severe since the foreign design companies are allowed to the domestic market. The architecture design companies in Jiangxi province are developing in this market competing with both domestic companies and foreign companies equipped with advanced technologies, high management level and high fund. To cope with this situation, we must established long-term competition strategies with sharp competitive edges to assure the sustainable development of company。Aimed at Jiangxi architecture market, this paper studies on the 5 competition factors combining with true cases and proposes the measures of improving competitive edges. In 6 chapters of paper, the first chapter summaries the study purpose, background, definition, contents and frame of paper; the second chapter clarifies and summarizes the management strategies and meanings; the third analyzed the competition structure and strength in Jiangxi province with the help of "5 factors" of industry and points out the problems in the market; the fifth analyzed the problems and solutions in the preparation of competition strategy based on SWOT method with the example of HJ, a local architecture company in Jiangxi when dealing with the domestic and foreign competitions.
