Zhejiang Province which Located in the eastern coastal is relatively developed areas of China's economy. Zhejiang Province's total gross domestic product is the fourth in china. The land area is small and the resource is low. As a small resources province and large economic province, Zhejiang need to find a sustainable development path in order to continue its future economic development.Due to lack of natural resources, Zhejiang Province should be strengthened to deal with the use of renewable resources. Municipal solid waste is a part of human life and activities. With the development of human society, it is also an endless supply of produce. With the constant garbage generation and accumulation, it will have an enormous impact on the environment. If nobody checked it, solid waste will affect the urban landscape, reduce people's quality of life, destroy the environment, impede sustainable development of society.As people understanding of solid waste, solid waste resource properties has also been recognized by the people. So the use of municipal solid waste has also placed the government's daily agenda. Thus enhancing the recycling of municipal solid waste research, on the one hand can reduce the pollution of the environment, improving people's living environment. On the other hand it can make full use of domestic garbage of the resource properties, and find the economic value of living garbage which could promote the economic development of human society. The same time, with the using of renewable resources, it can reduce demand of natural resources and reduce pressure on environmental resources. It also can extend the economic development.In this paper, this article studys the processing of municipal solid waste and solid waste recycling in Zhejiang Province through studying the changes in the role of Government and the changes in the ways of solid waste recycling.
