In the 21st century, with the formation of market globalization, more and more intense market competition, customers increasingly desire for high quality of products and service. So the aim of improving products quality is to satisfy the customer requirements. In order to manifest the requirement of customers to the product quality, the methodology of Quality Function Deployment (QFD) obtains broad application. Quality function deployment (QFD) is a widely used customer-driven design, manufacture and quality management tool. When enterprises apply QFD for quality management, internal conflict minimizes, development cycle time shortens, market penetration increases, product quality improves, and customer satisfaction increases, resulting in higher revenues.In this paper, we first review and summarize the present research situation. fields of application, and tendency of QFD at home and abroad, and discus the major shortage of applying of traditional QFD method。At the same time, based on the existing problems of current QFD, we have made the following main aspects:Firstly, taking into account the relationships between customer requirements and technical attributes, as well as correlations among the technical attributes, which are uncertainty and ambiguity in nature, the trapezoid fuzzy number is introduced, and a fuzzy HoQ (House of Quality) is constructed,Secondly, based on the fuzzy HoQ, the planned attainments as a variable rate, customer satisfaction for the goal value, taking into account the constraints of financial and technical, a linear programming model is proposed, and which is applied above on the actual example of the paper for press.Thirdly, based on the same fuzzy HoQ, a non-linear programming model is established, which takes into account the nonlinear problems in the HoQFourthly, taking into account the dynamic nature of customer requirements, a new QFD method based on neural network is proposed. By the dynamic QFD model based on neural network, the changes of customer requirement are transferred to the designer in very good time, programmer is simply and workload is satisfactoryAt the end, we have a good summary for the work done in the paper, and point out the direction for future research.
