Studies On Core Competence's Evaluation System Of Iron And Steel Enterprises

China occupies the significant position of heavy industry in the world for a long time. Especially as the foundation of the whole industry, the technological development degree of steel and iron industry is one of the most important indicators of judging the scientific and technological strength of a national industry.Although our iron and steel industries have producing advantages, but still face the problems of system and management lagging etc, technique have relatively big gap among powerful country. Under this background, it is significant to go on research on the core competitiveness of iron and steel enterprises in China.This paper is mainly divided into five parts:Chapter one is the introduction, it explains the research background and do a summary to the relevant literature on the study of domestic and international core competitiveness of iron and steel enterprises and proposes the research contents and approach on this basis.Chapter two is theoretical research review of the core competitiveness of enterprises.the definition,the development orbit of enterprise's core competitiveness theory and its main appraisal methods are explained.the concrete design for the checklist of enterprise's core competitiveness is introduced.In chapter three, the checklist of the core competitiveness of iron and steel enterprises is constructed and, the core competitiveness of the iron and steel enterprises is assessed on three aspects:firstly, the iron and steel enterprise appraised and its rival are contrasted horizontally on all index data; secondly, the checklist is established on the framework of three levels of core competitiveness-enterprise core ability-ability. First of all, enterprise's ability is designed on the basis of Potter's value chain, and according to trade characteristics, the ability index of the third level is confirmed with the guide of characteristic pictures. After establishing the checklist, the weights of ration index and nature index in the third level will be calculated respectively by the methods of Entropy Method and AHP, the score on different abilities of every iron and steel enterprise will also be obtained, and advantage and deficiency on every ability of this enterprise will be found out through score; thirdly, the key factors of restricting enterprise's development have been pointed out on the basis of the theory of restricting factors.Chapter four, the evaluation methed of the core competence.In Chapter five, the core competitiveness of Panzhihua Iron Company is appraised with this checklist and relevant suggestions are proposed.Chapter six summarizes conclusions of this paper and points out the weak points in this study and the direction of future research.
