The Study Of The Influence Of Foreign Trade In Sichuan Province To Its Economic Growth

Since the reform and opening of China, the economy and foreign trade of Sichuan province have developed all-round. In particular, since the accession of China to WTO, the growth of foreign trade in Sichuan province accelerated further. In this situation, whether the foreign trade in Sichuan province has promoted the growth of economy and whether it has the stable mechanism are topics worth to study. Based on this, the paper expand the discussion and try to analyze the influence of foreign trade of Sichuan province to its economy growth.On the base of overviewing the relevant research at home and abroad, the paper uses the foreign trade and economy growth in Sichuan province as the research object. The paper will analyze it with the method of combining the standardized research, the empirical research, the quantitative analysis and the qualitative analysis. The paper will analyze the economy growth theory and the influence of foreign trade to economy growth theory with the standardized research. The paper will analyze the economy growth and the structure of commodities, markets and trade patterns with the quantitative analysis. Also, the paper will analyze the dependence of foreign trade, the drive reliability of foreign trade and the flexibility of foreign trade in Sichuan province with the correlation analysis. Then, the paper will make the model seperately to the GDP and export, the GDP and import. Furthermore, the paper will carry the Unit Root Test, Cointegration Test and the Granger Causality Test. On the base of this, the paper finds out the problems existing in the foreign trade of Sichuan province. They include the lagging behind of the development of the processing trade, very concentration of the export market, the single and irrational structure of the export products, the single form of the main participants of foreign trade and the imbalance in regional development. At last, the paper gives some suggestions according to the above-mentioned problems.
