It is obviously that lots of enterprises are thirsty for knowledgeable employees in the 21st century which was characteristic of knowledge-based economy. However, the structural contradiction of knowledgeable employees is conspicuous. The main reason is due to the information asymmetry exist in enterprises'recruitment works and cause inefficient employment. Consequently, it is necessary to understand and grasp the characteristics and rules of knowledgeable employees'job-searching behavior. Enterprises thus can improve the efficiency of employment as well as avoid the serious drain of excellent employees. If the knowledgeable employees contribute to enterprises'development, enterprises will be inspired to employ more knowledgeable employees,by this mean, a benign circle can be formed and will finally be helpful to resolve the employment problem that government and common people worry about.With the main research purpose of eliciting the contents and characteristics of knowledgeable employees'job-searching behavior as well as discussing feasible tactics to improve the efficiency of enterprises'employment, this thesis took an empirical investigation in knowledgeable employees'job-searching behavior through approaches as the analysis of documents, questionnaire investigation, individual interviews, etc, on the basis of domestic and international relevant research documents. The research objects were mainly on-the-job knowledgeable employees in Chongqing main city zone ,they are all in the process of job-searching and have diplomas awarded by university,or have diplomas awarded by college and middle or high level special qualification.The contents were divided into five interrelated behavior, including knowledgeable employee's ascertain ideal employment, scheme job-searching, choose the applicable employment, actualize scheme of application, wait for the result of interview and determine end job-searching. The investigation results show that in general, knowledgeable employees'cognition degree of their condition to obtain employment is high while the definition degree of their ideal occupation is low. They regard all the methods and approaches as well as they can to make a perfect scheme while pay not much attention to the process. The main information channels that they search or apply for an employment is Internet. They attach importance to efficiency so that they choose applicable employment carefully. They are both sensible and rational when they actualize scheme of application. They have not much patience to wait for the result of interview, they make quickly decision about whether or not accept new employment and end their job-searching. Besides, this research carried on categorized comparative analysis to the knowledgeable employee's job-searching behavior, which put forward the different job-searching behavior of different sex, ages, academic credentials, character and different working types. The results had offered basis to discussing feasible tactics to improve the efficiency of enterprises'employment.Based on the character and difference of different knowledgeable employee's job-searching behavior, this research proposed such principles to the enterprises'employment as treat their recruitment as conventionality, take converse thinking, design multi-tactic, pay much attention to details, etc. Besides, this research also proposed concrete implementation ways to actualize those principles.
