Tourist attractions are the basis for carrying out tourism and its sustainable development is the demand for tourism's sustainable development. Based on ecological footprint model, tourists'ecological consumption and structural characteristics, the ecological footprint theory is introduced to assess the sustainable development of tourism area, and the essay describes the concept of ecological footprint of tourism, and builds the sub-model of ecological footprints including tourism transport, accommodation, dining, shopping, sightseeing, leisure and entertainment tourism. The model converts the consumption and supply of tourists into ecological footprint and ecological carrying capacity separately. By comparing the analysis of this supply and demand, the essay analyzes the tourism development of the sustainability of past or present quantitatively.The essay selects Sejila Mountain National Forest Park as the research object, calculates and analyzes the Visitor's ecological footprint in Sejila Mountain National Forest Park from 2005 to 2009 and the impact of tourism on Sejila Mountain National Forest Park.Conclusions:(1) The average ecological footprint of tourism in Sejila Mountain National Forest Park is 581.244391 hm2 from 2005 to 2009, and the average ecological carrying capacity is 106373.6264 hm2, and thus 105792.382 hm2 is left; per capita of ecological footprint is 0.010282208 hm2, and that of ecological carrying capacity of tourism is 2.374667322 hm2, and 2.364385115 hm2 is left.(2) Key factors that affect ecological footprint are the tourists scale, tourist consumption level and consumption pattern, and spatial behavior of tourists.(3) Sejila Mountain National Forest Park presents the total ecological footprint of tourism ecological surplus among five years, This development is "sustainable". The essay predicts that about 12 years later Sejila Guo Jiaji Forest tourism ecological deficit appears, and enters "not sustainable" stage; under the same conditions of technology, tourism, consumption patterns, tourism, protection measures as now, if each annual tourists are not more than 10.35 million passengers sustainable development of tourism in Sejila Mountain National Forest Park can be guaranteed.
