Comparative Study Of Community Residents’ Perceptions And Attitudes Towards The Influence Of Forest Tourism

Tourism community residents are who feel the direct impact of tourism activities. Tourism district at different stages of development will bring different perceptions oft heir community, which will be counterproductive in the tourism district and directly af fect the development of tourism.Therefore, we selected residents in Zhangjiajie and Ji uyishan National Forest Park for the survey, the survey data was obtained through qu estionnaires and SPSS21.0 software was used for statistical analysis of the data, we got the following conclusions with corresponding assumptions:There are differences in th e understanding of forest tourism between the two communities.Residents in Jiuyisha n National Forest Park understand the forest tourism than Zhangjiajie from the individ ual point of view, while the level of understanding is no significant difference from the point of view both the overall population;There are differences of perception of the i mpact of forest tourism between the two communities,which are notable especially in general positive impact,the general negative impact,the daily lives,the economic impa ct;There exist difference in attitudes of forest tourism between the two community res idents,in individual opinion Jiuyishan National Forest Park residents are more willing to participate in the development of forest tourism,while residents in Zhangjiajie Nati onal Forest Park express less willing to participate in it.In addition, difference exist in the correlation between two community residents’ perceptions and attitudes and their 1 evel of understanding of forest tourism.By the above conclusion,we further explored t he causes of the differences of the perception and attitude differences of forest tourism between the two community, and make upgrade recommendations from the following two levels.The one is recommendation with well universality that applies to two Nati onal Forest Parks:smooth communication channels,improve community residents satis faction,improve community participation mechanisms,ensure the active participation of the residents,strengthen publicity and education work.The other is specific recomm endation for two places in different stages of development:Zhangjiajie National Fores t Park should pay attention to comprehensive benefits of forest tourism, improve com munity well-being, and Jiuyishan National Forest Park should be concerned about the economic impact of forest tourism, improve community economic strength.
