Eco-tourism has become current and popular in the world of tourism development. With the rapid growth of the eco-tourism, it has change into more and more different forms, such as forest eco-tourism, eco-tourism, and alpine grassland eco-tourism. As a new way of tourism, forest eco-tourism is meeting the people’s demand of return to natural, has became a kind of fashion. Forest eco-tourism started late in China, however, the richness and uniqueness of resources makes it development with a huge potential, which is a kind of sustainable development of tourism resources.Based on the forest eco-tourism concept and related theory, the collection of a large number of relevant information, field investigation, summarizes the predecessor to the development of forest eco-tourism on the basis of existing researches, this article analysis present situation and development of forest park tourism in our country. With the present situation and problem analysis, it deeply shows the importance and urgency of the development of Niutou Mountain National Forest Park in Wuyi, Zhejiang.This paper include full-scale investigation and analysis tourism resources spatial distribution, the classification of tourism resources, tourism resources evaluation, evaluation of tourism resources and market and forest eco-tourism resources like basic quantity, distribution, size, value, combination of features of Niutou Mountain National Forest Park. Investigations showed there are single tourism resources (124sites), four stage single tourism resources (6sites), three single tourism resources (14sites), two class single tourism resources (32sites), a single tourism resources (spots), as well as60single tourism resources (12sites) in Niutou Mountain National Forest Park. The qualitative evaluation analysis of forest eco-tourism resources also shows that it gets a good evaluation on artistic and ornamental value, scientific research value, location conditions and the tourist source market conditions, which can be organic unity among social benefit, economic benefit and ecological benefit, and in a in-depth good condition development of forest tourism based on the evaluation of the natural environment, economic environment, social and cultural conditions, political environmental evaluation.
