Study Of The Rural Labor Employment Of Chongming Island Base On Eco-island Construction

Chongming is the suburb of the largest city in China, whose economic develops under the the radiation of Shanghai. The employment of Chongming develops under the impact of the economic development of Shanghai, a large number of rural labor transfer, mainly for in the city out of the rural. By analyzing the agricultural census and economic census data for comparative analysis we find that Chongming's labor employment,compared with the employment situation of the rural labor force in Shanghai has some special features in the flow, size, etc.. According to Chongming development plan of Shanghai, Chongming is to build into a beautiful natural environment as the basis for the support of modern high-tech, resource-saving society and under the direction of harmonious coexistence between man and nature, economic and social development of modern eco-island area. Under the request, the employment of labor corresponds to the changes. In the natural ecology and social ecology construction, it is the priority about how to ensure the island during the construction.We must insure the promotion of local economic development, as well as improving people's life. The transfer of labor force in Chongming at this stage can greatly increase the income of farmers. But on the other hand, in Chongming, the rural labor force cannot meet the need of the construction of Chongming, the construction of ecological requires many young people and a higher education rural workers transfer into the cities, which causing a brain drain in ecological process of island-building. So how to balance the ecological construction and economic development of the island on the road becomes the bottleneck of Chongming's development.In order to promote the local rural labor employment, Chongming government has issued a series of policies to encourage the rural labor force with vocational and technical training. Under the new request in the eco-island construction, the Government's focus point is going into definite shift. This article intends to find the characteristics and existing problems in Chongming's labor force, and try to put forward a series of measures for ecological island construction, including enhancing the development of green agriculture, developing modern agriculture and rural tourism as an important industry, promoting economical use of land and large-scale land operation, promoting regional concentration of population, enhancing the rural population's living quality and expertise to vigorously promote the advancement of eco-island construction.
