Research On Evaluation Of Ecological Recreation Value Of Chongming Island Based On TCM Method

In recent years,with the improvement of the well-off level in China,the tourism industry has developed in a full swing.At the same time ecotourism emerges,which has stimulated the growth of GDP in many regions and has greatly improved the life of local residents and solved employment problems.Exactly Chongming Island is a microcosm of island ecotourism in China.With the Island Protection Law of the People's Republic of China and the 13 th Five-Year Plan for the Development of Chongming World-class Ecological Island,Chongming Island has raised its status as an ecological island.The completion and opening of the Chongming Yangtze River Bridge has further enhanced the tourism industry of Chongming Island.The further development of tourism in Chongming Island inevitably causes over-exploitation of ecological resources,deterioration of the natural environment and overwhelming burdens on the island's capacity.The assessment of the recreation value of Chongming Island's ecotourism resources will help promote the simultaneous development of local material civilization and ecological civilization,and will also help protect local ecotourism resources and provide tourism industry with scientific and rational protection,management and development of this ecological resource.A strong basis can effectively prevent the ecological environment of Chongming Island from being damaged by irreversible damage to its island environment during the development process.At present,there are various limitations and deficiencies in the field of tourism resource assessment.This paper will compare these existing problems and theories in the assessment process.Through discussion,the author will objectively evaluate the island's ecotourism resources to enrich the current research on Chongming Island.Through tourist consumption data from questionnaires,in this paper the author compares and analyzes the value of recreational resources of different tourism resources based on domestic and foreign academic literature reports,and conducts data screening and effectiveness screening for the uniqueness of island ecotourism resources.TCM method was used in the evaluation of the recreational value and can be used alone to evaluate the recreation value of island ecotourism resources.Especially in the case of relatively simple tourist sources and relatively simple levels of tourists,the result will be more accurate and reliable,and it can also reduce the difficulty of evaluation.The author uses TCM method to estimate the consumer surplus of Chongming Island's ecotourism resources,and finally adds the total tourist consumption expenditure to estimate that the tourism value of Chongming Island's ecotourism resources in 2016 is more than 157 billion yuan.Through the investigation and analysis of the questionnaires and estimation results,the author believes that the estimated value of the ecological tourism resources of Chongming Island exceeds the direct income of the relevant departments by statistics.The reasons are as follows.First,the island's closeness weakens tourists' stay fluidity,and thus consumer spending increases;Secondly,the attractions on Chongming Island are distributed in several centers,and the chain effect of popular attractions will drive the income generated by surrounding attractions.Third,existing statistical methods of direct tourism income cannot fully cover the consumption expenditure of tourists.In addition,the key to value lies in the consumer surplus that is not reflected in the consumer spending of tourists.From the estimation results of the conclusions of this paper,the huge consumer surplus contains the potential revenue of the tourism industry.Behind the interests of the various layers,it is necessary for the industry to attach great importance to the great value of the ecotourism resources of Chongming Island and to seek effective ways for reasonable protection,development and management.Thanks to the improvement of traffic conditions,the ecological tourism of Chongming Island has developed rapidly in recent years.How to make use of local advantages to drive GDP growth for the benefit of local residents depends on government decisions.To create a Chongming brand and expand its popularity,it also needs support from the government.By analyzing the case of Chongming Island,it will not only provide inspiration for it,but also provide references for other islands' ecotourism resources throughout the country.
