Research On Chinese Women Entrepreneurial Model Based On Entrepreneurial Motivation

Women entrepreneurship has been considered to be an important way to get rid of women poverty, to enhance women status, to ease the employment pressure and to achieve economic development and social progress around the world. Women entrepreneurship developed rapidly in the past 2 decades, and the contribution of women entrepreneurs has become increasingly prominent as an important driving force of the global economic growth. Compared with the male entrepreneurs, besides environmental factors, entrepreneurial motivation and entrepreneurial model have effect on women entrepreneurship development. This dissertation studies the relationship between entrepreneurial motivation and entrepreneurial model and discuss women entrepreneurial model driven by different motivation.Firstly, this dissertation discussed the research results abroad in 3 areas of entrepreneurial motivation, women entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial motivation. After the review of literature, we found the lack of research on women entrepreneurial model, and proposed a case study. Secondly the dissertation sorted out the development of international and domestic women entrepreneurship. Based on GEM frame we analyzed Chinese women entrepreneurial environment, and opportunities and challenges women faced. At last, the dissertation study women entrepreneurial model under different entrepreneurial motivation through three cases of manufacturing industry, chemical industry, food industry.The dissertation came to a concluded that under different entrepreneurial motivation women entrepreneurial model can be divided into three categories: Survival entrepreneurial model, Achiever entrepreneurial model and Opportunity entrepreneurial model. Survival entrepreneurial model is active entrepreneurship. Achiever entrepreneurial model and Opportunity entrepreneurial model are passive entrepreneurship and higher contingency in Opportunity entrepreneurial model. Chinese women Entrepreneurs have Commonalities that they are all diligent, daring to take active, daring to risk and never stop learning.
