As the development of supply chain management is an inevitable trend, VMI is a collaborative strategy between downstream enterprises and vendors. Compared with collaborative model of the traditional supply chain, the cooperation between downstream enterprise and vendors are deeper and deeper in VMI environment, thus the two sides can transfer knowledge more effectively and share the knowledge more easily.Firstly, this paper introduces the researching background, significance and current researching status of this field. In the second chapter,it researches the issue of supplier evaluation and selection from the perspective of the knowledge transfer in the VMI environment. It elaborates the effects on vendor evaluation and selection which is made by the implementation of VMI, analyzes the reasons of knowledge transfer and knowledge sharing in the VMI environment, points out the new features of vendors evaluation and selection which based on that, and establishes a set of index system of vendor evaluation and selection which based on knowledge transfer in the VMI environment. The reasonable evaluation and selection of vendors is essential to downstream enterprises. In the third chapter, based on the established set of index system of vendors evaluation and selection, it determines the weight of index by using GAHP, then classifies alternative vendors by K-means clustering method, judges the level of vendor according to the weight of indexes to find a class of vendors which are comprehensive, and analyzes the input and output of the class of vendors from the perspective downstream enterprises by DEA. Ultimately combined with GAHP, it selects the goal. In the fourth chapter, through a practical example which is an enterprise in Hefei, selects suppliers by bidding, it demonstrates the method's feasibility. Finally, it makes an expectation of the further research in the future.
