Analysis On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Consumption And Industrial Structure In Shanxi Province

Consumption is the most stable and enduring power as one of the"troika"which promoting economical growth. It was estimated that, at the present stage, 1% increased by consumption is equivalent to 1.5% increased by investment on stimulating the economical growth. Since 1998, our government has already put forward the strategy of"promoting consumption, expanding domestic demand". As the economic crisis of 2008, our export was continued shrinking. The Government introduced ten measures of further expanding the domestic demand and promoting economic growth which aimed at promoting economic growth through consumption not investment. However, the result was not effective as expected, the role of consumption remains weak at stimulating economic growth.As one of six provinces in central, in response to the crisis, expanding domestic demand and promoting economic growth, Shan xi province has issued a series of policy to expand the consumption. The consumer capabilities have been further enhanced. However, compared with the national consumption level, the consumption is still a short board. In recently years, the ability of driving economic growth not only failed to strengthen, but also weakened. Currently, there are many problems in the consumption of Shan xi province, such as: The level of consumption is far below the whole national average; the pulling effect to total output of consumption has weakened; consumer expenditure structure is unreasonable; consumption of urban and rural residents in Shan xi province has a very large gap, not only about the consumption level and structures, but also on the impact on the industrial structure. The rural consumption is far behind the urban residents.To solute the shortage of consumption, develop the industrial structure of Shan xi province, on the basic of vertical and horizontal compare a lot of statistical data, we advised that: enlarge the consumer level positively, improve people's consumption structure; the most important is the demand of rural residents, and the adjustment of rural industrial structure; adjust the industrial structure to adapt to the consumer demands.The innovation of this article is attempting to analyze the problems and propose countermeasures of consumption and industrial structure by discussing the relationship between consumption and industrial structure.
