Study On The Evaluation Of Construction Land Intensive Utilization In Pearl River Delta Area

Types of construction is an important basis for social and economic development. With the rapid industrialization and urbanization of China, the intensive utilization of construction land become the inevitable choice of mitigation of land between supply and demand and to realize the sustainable development.The Pearl River Delta is one of the fastest growing economy area in China. The shortage of land resources has become an important bottleneck of sustained and rapid development of economic and social constraints. The evaluation of intensive construction land use is of important significance to promote the sustainable utilization of land resources in The Pearl River Delta and all the nation.Extensive collection the land use data and socio-economic statistical data in the Pearl River Delta. This paper built evaluation index system of intensive construction land use based on the actual situation in the Pearl River Delta,and used several different methods for dynamic changes analysis and spatial evaluation . And using statistical and geographical information technology evaluation method to achieve the results visualization. At last put forward measures and suggestions.The construction land intensive utilization were longitudinal evaluated with Entropy and comprehensive evaluation. The results showed that the composite index of construction land intensity increased steadily between 2000 and 2007,and it can be divided into three stages: there are small increased, gradually increased, significant increased in three stages. Three criteria level scores improved in varying degrees: Land cost is always the largest share of the score and has been on the rise, General social development has shown a steady trend of slightly, and the overall trend of sustainable land use patterns similar to a "U" type.The land use change and socio-economic statistical data was used to analyse the construction land intensive utilization of cities in the Pearl River Delta in 2007. The results showed that the construction land intensive of cities are great disparities and the overall level is not high, and there is more room to explore.The construction land use intensity in Shenzhen is hightest, Followed by Guangzhou, Huizhou is the lowest.And the grade can be divided into intensive, moderate, low-efficiency. Space show in Shenzhen City as the center ring decreased gradually from the center to the outer edge.The evaluation of construction land intensive utilization has been understood comprehensively through the vertical and horizontal evaluation.Then several measures and ?suggestions were put forward.Such as Fostering ideas of land use intensity, drawing up land use planning scientifically, managing the construction land strictly, adhere to sustainable development,etc.
