Software Industry is one of the fastest developing industries in the world nowadays which is becoming the focus of the competition among countries. The developed countries have taken the advantage of software and information network as the strategic point of the global competition. After a couple of years of groping, China software Industry has been stepping on the way to the mature and stable development since 1997. In 2000, after the staging and fulfilling of the No.18 Document of the State Council Measures on encouraging the development of software Industry and integrate circuit Industry and No.47 Document Action Outline of Promoting Software Industry(2002-2005), China software Industry has come to the best developing period since ever. As the prosperous development and deep promotion of the electric government affairs and the construction of the informationization of the medium-scale and small-scale corporations in China, the adjustment of the resume of the software market in China has primary effect. The large and medium-scale corporations take the advantage and propel the marketing of the related software products so as to gain the lion's share. Therefore, in the present market environment, it is greatly essential to establish the marketing channel of the software that suits the sustainable development of the corporation. That the one who gains the channel gains the success has been the secret of IT Industry.The structure and the characteristics of the software market in China determines the key point of competition of software corporation——the establishment and management of the marketing channel. In recent years, the competition in the software market makes the function of the channel more obvious. Meanwhile, the foreign-run software corporations occupying the top market and some traditional hardware channel promotes the competition of the software channel into a competitive and dividing stage. The channel of the software corporation confronts with more risks.The importance and uncontrollability of the channel makes the Channel Risk Forewarning Management greatly meaningful to the development of the software corporation.Research on Channel of Chinese software company lack theoretical guide, and research on channel risk forewarning management in software companies also lack a evaluation system. In view of above problems, the thesis tries to analyze the competition in Chinese software companies and the present situation of channel with marketing risk, forewarning management theory, and channel management theory, and to point problems existing in Chinese software company channel. Considering the problems existing in Chinese software companies, the writer tries to build a systematic and effective evaluation mode towards channel risk forewarning management of software companies. From the analysis and elaboration the types and origin of the channel risk in software companies, the index system and evaluation methods of channels risk forewarning management in software companies have been put forwarded in this study, then the study raised the management strategies of channel risk forewarning management for different evaluation results, so this may be of some guidance and can be used for reference to the management of software companies in China.
