| Biodiesel is renewable, clean and safe which has become an effective alternative to petroleum diesel. Development of biodiesel in our country can ease the environment pressure and has great significance in our energy security, rural development, increasing farmers'income and so on. Due to agricultural products as the main raw material for bio-diesel has increasing negative impact on global food prices, food security, world agricultural trade, the income of peasants, the energy structure and the negative environmental, Jatropha curcas L. as raw material of biodiesel become more popular. Yunnan has advantages in developing biodiesel of Jatropha. Address employment of Yunnan Province as the starting point, the paper is used the input-output analysis to study the impact of biodiesel industry in Yunnan Province on employment and income.Firstly, the paper introduces the topics and historical context, status, the paper's research content, research framework and research methods; The second chapter analyzes the basic principles of the input-output analysis and construct the input-output Model; The third chapter is based on the analysis of biodiesel's life-cycle, introduce the industry chain of Jatropha biodiesel and material and labor inputs in all stages; The forth chapter using the previous input-output model to estimate the direct, indirect, induced and total impact of bio-diesel industry development on employment and income, and in accordance to national policies and realistic conditions of Yunnan Province , the paper set the development of bio-diesel industry in different scenarios, respectively analyzes the development of bio-diesel industry and the impact on employment and income of Yunnan Province.We can see from the data results that when the biodiesel accounts the energy use of transportation for 10 percent, GDP growths 50 percent in Yunnan province, jobs increase eighty thousand and income increase 5.8 million Yuan if biodiesel industry development in Yunnan province. |
