An Study On Industrial Division Of Labor And Cooperation Between Chengdu And Chongqing

At the age of Economic Globalization,Regional economic intagretion has become a major trend of economic development,Rational division of labor and cooperation is the objective requirement of achieveing coordinated development on regional economy.such domestic Economic Zones as Yangtze River Delta Economic Zone,Greater pearl River Delta Economic Zone and Bohai Sea Economic Zone have made rapid growth in regional economy through the rational division of labor and cooperation.chengdu and chongqing(Chengyu) are the two most important industrial cities in western china,Expanding collaborative division of labor between them and upgrading industrial structure are very important to the construction of "Chengyu Economic Zone", achieving Chengyu economic integration and building western China's economic growth pole.As the subject of "An Study on industrial division of labor and cooperation between Chengdu and Chongqing",Based on reviewed the papers and theories, this paper has conducted a systemic study on structure and industrial division of labor between Chengyu. First of all,as the starting point to overall industrial structure condition, this paper made a deeper study on structure and industrial division of labor between Chengdu and Chongqing from different visual angels of industrial efficiency, concentration factor, industry Specialization, industrial advancement, industrial distribution and socio-economic system by using large amounts of data and lots of evaluation indicators.Moreover, it found that Chengdu and Chongqing are in the middle stage of industrialization with low industrial efficiency,though the similarity of industrial structures in Chengyu is weakened followed "industry--production", but there is still the problem of convergence of industrial structure,the local industrial structure is basically consistent with the own production factor endowments,and there has a unbalanced industrial layout in Chengyu.After that,this paper pointed out the existence of advantages and problems,and then put forward some specific patterns under "government-guided, market-driven" and countermeasures about division of labor.This research has supplied viable theoretical guidance and practical foundation for promoting the coordinated development and regional economic integration process of Chengyu,so has a certain academic value and practical significance.The main features in this paper is Conducting a comprehensive and systematic empirical analysis on structure and industrial division of labor and cooperation among ChengYu by Comprehensive use of related theories,furthermore proposing the new meaningful patterns about division of labor and cooperation.
