Study On Logistics Development Model Of Fresh Vegetables And Fruits In Henan Province

As a big agricultural province and also an important production base for agricultural products, Henan Province is known as "China's large kitchen". Currently the bottleneck of agricultural development has been transferred from production areas to the circulation areas. because of less costs and slow technology development of logistics makes many fresh vegetables and fruits with advantages hardly realize "smooth flow " and "maximize value", which has hindered the further development of characteristic agriculture and modern agricultural. Therefore, how to try best to promote fresh vegetables and fruits of Henan Province into the domestic and international markets and extensively participate in market competition play an important role for Henan Province to develop modern agriculture, optimize the structure of agricultural production and increase farmers'income.This paper analyzes the state of the supply and demand and the basic conditions of logistics of fresh vegetables and fruits in Henan Province, builds logistics system for Henan Province based on transaction cost theory from three aspects of logistics participants, logistics channels, and logistics functions, develops a two-dimensional space model consisting of the degree of participants' organization and the comprehensive level of logistics activities to differentiate logistics models of fresh vegetables and fruits. The paper mainly analyzes the development status, organization forms and transaction efficiency of the three types of logistics models in Henan Province. It concludes that logistics models of fresh vegetables and fruits are mainly market-oriented in Henan Province with other types developing slowly, and finds a series of problems existed in the development process of fresh vegetables and fruits logistics, for example low commercialization rate of post-production logistics, low and irregular development of logistics participants, low information degree, and so on. Therefore, the paper gives some suggestions for the fresh vegetables and fruits logistics development in Henan Province, which are emphasizing rural road maintenance, increasing use of dedicated vehicles for rural logistics, accelerating infrastructure construction, fostering and strengthening logistics participants for fresh vegetables and fruits, paying attention to value potential in each logistics step, realizing the logistics way from the extensive way to the intensive style, and importantly cultivating logistics talents, etc.
