Study Of Chinese Fresh Vegetables Logistics System

Since 1980th, there happened two changes in fields of circulation theory and practice which can not be ignored. First, modern logistic management and supply chain theory are introduced to China, people begin to know how to organize logistics is not only a method of cutting cost, but also a strategy of increasing profit; second, supermarket chain in Chinese developed soon, and their business scale on fresh food become larger and larger. Supermarkets' aim of their fresh food business arouse new demand to logistics, at the same time supply an opportunity to change the traditional logistics system. Under these circumstances, I choose fresh vegetables as research object; deeply analyze its logisticsystem based on a large quantity of investigation. What should be stressed here is that the aim of the paper is not to describe a beautiful blueprint of modern fresh vegetables logistics, but to analyze present logistic system rationally, find the crucial factors of it, andpredict the development trend of the whole system through grasping the rule of factors changing.There are eight chapters in this paper.Chapter one, as an introduction, includes research background, aim and significance, main content, logic structure and methods and so on. Besides, it also summarized domestic and foreign researches concerned, and gave a simple evaluation. In my opinion, this paper may help people to understand and evaluate conditions of our present fresh vegetable logistic system correctly, change the unpractical expectation and pursuit for modern farm product logistics, avoid waste which owing to eyeless imitating under immature condition, on the other hand, according to the change rule of main factors in the period of traditional logistics transferring to modern, foster and inspirit the innovation power, hearten valuable innovative behavior.Chapter two is the constitution of Chinese fresh vegetables logistic system: theory, conception and characteristic. This chapter begin with general theory of modern logistics, accord to the logistic character of farm product, design a whole research frame to farm product logistics, argue that in order to go deep into understand farm productlogistics, we should sort farm products firstly according to their logistic character and biologic character, under which research logistic system, explore how to constitute strategy of modern logistics. In the whole research, organization and institution analyses are main contents.Then, fresh vegetables logistic system was chosen. This chapter analyzed the logistic character of fresh vegetables, pointed that the aim of fresh vegetables logistics is supplying fresh, safety vegetables to consumers. The aim and the character of logistics arouse the importance of research to logistic system. This chapter gives the structure of fresh vegetables logistic system, argued that the system is composed of three factors: logistics participators, logistics roads, and functional logistics activity. Different connection of these three factors form different logistics chains, which became the under prop to do research for logistics organization and institutionChapter three is change of institution of Chinese fresh vegetables system: theory and practice. Through describing the period of institution change that influenced the method of fresh vegetables logistics, this chapter stressed that institution structure have important influence to development of logistics system. It also gives present institution structure, and describes how those three factors changed with the change of institution structure.Chapter four is the organization form of Chinese fresh vegetables logistics system: through the angle of logistics chain. This chapter established a theory model of forming logistics chains, supposed that' there are two variables influence the presses of forming logistics chains, one is organizational degree of logistics participators, another is integration degree of logistics activity. Influenced by these two variables, there will form four kinds of logistics chains. Then, the chapter described how these four chains practice in the field of present logistics system, and gave their characteristics.Chapter five is the transaction of Chinese fresh vegetables logistics organizations: transaction cost and efficiency analysis. All of the organization change for saving transaction cost, so there gave a comparison on transaction efficiency between those four kinds of logistics chains, and pointed that a new kind of logistics chain must design its organization and institution for saving transaction cost. Different logistics chains are based on the space of increasing profit that connected with demand, and the space of increasingprofit will push the innovation of logistics chains' organization and institution.Chapter six is the empirical analysis of Chinese fresh vegetables logistics chains: five kinds of logistics chains. Chapters above finished theory analyses to present system' s forming and operating, from the angle of organization and institution of logistics chain. This chapter choose five logistics chains which were investigated in HeBei province, ZheJiang province and ShangHai city as examples, deeply demonstrated its logistics chain form and its organization, institution and transaction efficiency, which can testify explanation and deduction ability of theory.Chapter seven is the innovation of Chinese fresh vegetables logistics system: theory, strategies and mode. Based on theory analyses and empirical research, this chapter points out that the existence of external profit result in not equilibrium of institution structure. If the potential profit can change into present profit, innovation will happen. This chapter established a theory model and according to which gave the innovation strategy direction and mode of logistics system.Chapter eight is the total conclusion.
