Research On Measuring The Contribution Of Intellectual Property To The Economic Growth

Since the 20th century 80 years, the enterprises of western developed countries through the success of enterprise intellectual property management which has maximized to create and play advantage of the intellectual resources.Its intellectual property rights have made tremendous advantage and huge returns in the international market competition. In recent years, the intellectual property business has developed rapidly in Jiangsu province. As a national intellectual property strategy model province, how to accurately evaluate the value of intellectual property output in Jiangsu and its contribution to economic growth are very important. That can comprehensively grasp the role of the intellectual property in technology and economic activities.These can also find factors that affect the comprehensive ability of intellectual property. It is very important for scientific decision-making, proper guidance strategic planning and effective implementation of intellectual property.On the basis of a great deal of literature reading and materials accumulation,the paper carry the research on intellectual property contribution to economic growth in theory and demonstration and puts forward some countermeasures bearing pertinency and maneuverability grasping closely the masterstroke of enhancing intellectual property activity, which blends the normative analysis and demonstration analysis under technology statistics, financial technology economy, regional economy and the number of economic theory and methods.First, it clears the intellectual property concepts and the value of measure about economic significance. Then it summarizes the status of intellectual property development in Jiangsu Province, and analysis the characteristics of intellectual property rights output on the impact of economic growth. By comparison of various models,it designs a production function to measure the value of intellectual property, and analysis of intellectual property on economic growth in Jiangsu province of technology using DEA. The results shows that each item of intellectual property rights on economic growth have a significant role in promoting. As the same time, it uses IP production function to measure the contribution rate of intellectual property rights on economic growth in Jiangsu with the stepwise regression multivariate statistical analysis.We find that the contribution intellectual property rights on economic growth is less than labor and capital.Finally, based on a comprehensive analysis of the problems of Jiangsu's IPR, it proposed to enhance intellectual property resources in the optimal allocation of measures of economic growth, which are to promote the national IP strategy implementation and to search for new economic growth point in Jiangsu. It also can provide decision-making point of reference for building an innovation-oriented enterprises and innovative provinces, and to further strengthen the intellectual property development to provide a scientific basis.
