Monitoring System Based On Webgis Platform And Applications

In this paper, after detailed technical analysis of some existing WebGIS products, the author bring forward a method of developing a basic applied WebGIS system, discuss about several key technologies in realizing the WehGIS system using Java: the methods of storage and fetch of geo-opatial data as well as the method of multi-resource data integrating into Oracle database; the geo-opatial and managing information issue through web and related technologies to improve the system's expansibility and whole performance by introducing the middleware technique. Based on the basic WehGlS platform, the author applied it to the project lectric power equipments technical supervision management system of Fujian province based on WebGIS? and put forward a new method of integrating monitoring system and management system through WebGIS fundamental platform and solve some important problems in developing phase. Finally, the author discuss about the limitations and bugs of the system as well as the future way to improve upon it.
