In some of the mountain area of China western, especially the schist and Phyllite in Shaanxi southern, the natural disaster such as the falling, the landslide and the debris flow are developed .The landslide endangers the safety of highway seriously, and have become a tough problem that wanted to be resolved extremely. In geology investigation and design, because of the high divergence of experiment parameter or overmuch sense datum, the conclusive parameter is usually much conservative and much differ from the fact. As a result, the conclusion of stability rooted in above parameter is also much differ from the fact. So the improvement in the stability study of landslide by taking the soil mechanics parameters in sliding zone through the data of landslide distortion monitoring is provide with theoretical and practical significance undoubtedly.According to the distortion of the Heihe reservoir G108 national highway Shuimengou landslide in Shaanxi, the high precision GPS net was arranged to monitor the landslide's level and uprightness displacement periodically through the three kinds of technique methods: exact measure, GPS and exact leveling. The displacement data was analyzed and the relativity between reservoir water level and the landslide's distortion was analyzed integrated with sluice.According to the elasto-plasticity theory the 2D-σ software package was used to establish calculation model and the two-dimension limitedunit method was adopted to carry on the calculation. In the distortion and displacement vector diagram of main and DC— Ⅰ ,DC— Ⅱ sliding surface imitated, the distortion and displacement on every section point were calculated and fitted with the known level displacement from the monitors to back-calculate the strength parameters of landslide. The result is more close to the fact. The compare as the follows: the cohesion C is increased 7.2%, angle of internal friction is increased 28.3% above the ground water and 29.2%. According to back-calculated strength parameter, the stress and strain of the main slide-zone were analyzed through the two-dimensions limited unit method and after wards the stability of sliding mass was calculated and analyzed through limited equilibrium methods and progress thrust numeration. At last the stability of sliding mass was estimated synthesized and the result can't satisfy the request of the highway safety. As a result, the project of press the feet and revetment and anti-slide pile were adopted to father the shuimengou slide. So continuely progress transmogrification inspect and adopt essential engineering measure.
