The geosystem is the research object of geography. It always corresponds with a certain geographic region, with the quantity-visuable to describe the geography thing, the geography element, the geography phenomenon, the geography event, the geography process that in the region is one of the most useful research methods. The data that produced during the research is called the geograohic special data. It includes the data which comes from the statistics, the observation, the monitor, the meaturement, the forecast and so on .It occupies the absolute superiority in the GIS data.The massive data which produced from the research on special region of geosystem, and it needs to carry on the data reduction to pick up the characteristic data for quantitative graphics unfolded. It is direct-viewing, clear effect of the quantificaive graphics, and it can be very easily understood and accepted by the reader, also the reader can quickly form the concrete concept and to realize the highly transmission of geography quantitative information. Along with the earth information science research, we request to enhance the quantitative information graphics visualization technology and quality day by day. The crankshaft coordinate system quantitative graphics is the quantitative graphics which established on the crankshaft coordinate system.It display the quantity character and the quantity change of geography thing by the graphics demonstration, then to post the development status and the rule.The crankshaft coordinate system breakes through the limit of directaxis, and expands the coordinate axis selection to the crack axis. Therefore, it has introduced the new study on crank axis, the curvature, axial, the tune upward, enriched the form of the quantitative graphics, increased the expression ways of the geography information, and it provides a new method to the geography information in data mining and data sharing. At the same time, the changes of the crankshaft coordinate system in the curvature and the tune upward enable the quantitative graphics to have rich modelling, and it increases the esthetic sense and the artistic effect in the graphics, also it makes the graphics more vivid and spirited.It takes the circular arc for the axis as an example to study the constitution principle, the distortion rule, the curvature choice, the taxonomy, kinds of constitution of crankshaft coordinate esystem in the theory, and has obtained a series of infer formula and the data expression. It sets up a simple visual system of coordinates of a bent axle design that protracting graphics patterns with computer on the basis Supermap Object5.0 and using Delphi language. It has carried on the attempt for the automatic crankshaft coordinate system quantification graph.
