Research On Trousers Of The Old Lady Wheelchair User In Shanghai Area

With the world-sweeping "silver wave", the aging degree of Chinese people is being deepened constantly, the proportion of the senior citizens over 70 is increasing year by year, and the wheelchair-bound elderly are more and more.Some of them aren't suffered from organic disease of lower limbs, but from frailty caused by age.They usually can stand or walk a short distance, but have to depend on the wheelchair for a long distance.And the other part lose the ability of walking because of lower limb diseases,so at any time they have to use the wheelchair.Due to the special physical conditions of elderly wheelchair users,their trousers have higher requirements on comfort, fittness and practicality.But the domestic research in this field so far is still a blank. Based on such situation this paper carries out the following study.During all the the old woman wheelchair users,this paper selects those who have no organic diseases on lower limbs,and can still stand as the representative. Bsed on the questionnaire and human body measurement, a comprehensive study is made to learn the overall situation of the researching objects; the mathematical statistics is adopted to analyze the figure characteristics from a variety of respects.Cutting experiment is made,combined with sample trying and revision;this paper calculated the best ease on key position of the wheelchair trousers, and the cutting and folding sizes as deforming the ordinary standing trousers to sitting pants. Finally, the suitable pants are designed and sewed out.Detailed working contents are as follows:1.Carrying out questionnarie survey and body measurement to 100 old lady wheelchair over the age of 70 in Shanghai.2.Analyzing the body measurement data with statistic software such as SPSS and EXCEL. Classifying the researching objects from various respects and studying the influence of the age to body figure.3.Cutting experiment is made,combined with sample trying and revision;this paper calculated the best ease on key positions of the wheelchair trousers, and the cutting and folding sizes as deforming the ordinary standing trousers to sitting pants.4.To design and sew out the suitable trousers for the old lady wheelchair user.This paper carries out an anthropometry to the elderly lady wheelchair-bound in Shanghai,and designs and makes out trousers meeting the requirements to researchng objects in comfort, fittness, and practicality.It shows some practical meaning and innovation significance.
