With the rapid economic development, a lot of mineral resources are developed. There are a variety of security hazards in the mining process, and a large number of gobs formed by underground mining deposits have been one of the major sources of risk. There are many geological hazards such as roof fall, wall caving, gush out, earthquake, rock burst, pressure burst, surface collapse, land subsidence, ground fissure, and large number of casualties and equipment accidents caused by the resulting landslide, debris flow, destruction of surface vegetation, which has become the major metal mine underground mining disasters causing the government and enterprises attach great importance to it. In this paper, we achieve a gob risk assessment system which is suitable for mining enterprises, using Visual Basic 6.0 as a development tool, ADO(ActiveX Data Object) database connection technology and Access 2007 database. System considers the probability of different gob hazards and the value of gob affected body based on the scope of gob hazard, and creates modules for calculating the loss of different types of value, and realizes the automation and intelligent of gob risk assessment applied to Mi Dimo 54-58 V panel at Da hongshan Copper Mine, and reaches the expected goal of the thesis. The main contents are as follows:(1) According to field data at Da hongshan copper, select the calculation of the gob of the stability of 16 factors, the establishment of gob risk evaluation index system. According to the indicator system, the gob disaster risk were evaluated and classified, the establishment of the influencing factors unascertained measure function, Gob risk assessment process, the introduction of entropy theory calculate the impact factor weights. Finally, in the risk assessment of mined area to determine level of confidence into the process of identifying criteria, the evaluation results were analyzed.(2) The process of lashing blast of compressed air of roof-fall in gob can be simplified to two mathematical models. One is the "pump" model, and the other is "flow model". We present a method of calculating the maximum speed of the lashing blast of compressed air of roof caving in gob through the analysis of the two models, and define the safe distance of gob hazards of compressed air according to the maximum speed and the degree of damage by using the rule of impact velocity attenuation, then we can divide it into four grades. (3) On the basis of the vulnerability analysis, The value of social wealth in the gob risk areas on the basis of risk analysis, and present the calculation models of the value of loss of life, assets, resources, crop and stop cuts, and evaluate the value of the loss of gob risks can be evaluated.(4) A gob risk evaluation system are developed using Visual Basic 6.0 as a foreground development tool and connecting the Access 2007 database by ADO database connection technology, achieve some functions such as adding, computing, graphics displaying, reports printing, etc.(5) The software of gob risk evaluation is applied to the reality of Da hongshan copper project.
