Abstract/Summary:
In this paper, we studied and prepared a highly efficient non-toxic inorganic antibacterial deodorant precursor glycol suspension, anti-bacterial deodorant polyester, antibacterial deodorant polyester fiber and antibacterial deodorant dry polyester fiber.First, zinc sulfate solution was prepared. Then uniformly mixed the excess of zinc sulfate solution and ammonium carbonate solution, basic zinc carbonate precipitate can be obtained. Barium sulfate and zinc hydroxide precipitation, coated together, were produced by reaction between barium hydroxide and excess zinc sulfate solution after adding barium hydroxide in ethylene glycol solution. Finally, distillation dehydration was applied to obtain glycol suspension, the precursor of antibacterial deodorant. By electron microscopy, the diameters of the precursors were between 15-40nm at 15% concentration of the product. By TG-DTA test, the decomposition temperature of the antibacterial deodorant precursor is around 250℃, indicating that the precursor can be broken down under polymerization conditions (about 285℃), suitable for polymerization to add.Using terephthalic acid and glycol as raw materials, adding a certain amount of catalyst, stabilizer, other additives and antibacterial deodorant precursor glycol suspension, after esterification and polycondensation reaction the antibacterial deodorant polyester chips can be obtained. The product is approximately identical to ordinary polyester by viscosity, melting point, condensation particle. By electron microscopy, anti-bacterial deodorant was evenly distributed in the polyester. In the zinc oxide content of less than 1.65% of the cases, all diameters of the particle were less than 100nm. It meets the quality requirements of polyester. By DSC curves, the curve of anti-bacterial deodorant polyester has little difference with ordinary polyester, indicating good spinnability.Based on the characteristics of anti-bacterial deodorant polyester, properly lowering spinning temperature and taking control of the winding speed while making pre-oriented yarn (POY) spinning and post-trial processing to antibacterial deodorant polyester, good quality of pre-oriented yarn POY can be spun out. To the orientation and after processing,a spinning the silk system DTY,By test of its antimicrobial properties, inhibitory rate of E.coli and S. aureus reached above 90% when the amount of antibacterial deodorant precursor added in 1% (zinc oxide content) or so.In order to not only have anti-bacterial deodorant polyester fabric performance, but also overcome its poor moisture absorption, wearing hot shortcomings, we developed antibacterial deodorant dry profiled polyester filaments, through the cross section profile to increase the capillary wicking of the role of reinforcing fibers moisture absorption, breathability. By selecting profiled spinneret, controlling spinning temperature and cooling conditions, DTY fiber with four and five leaves was obtained. Through its cross-section electron microscopy can be seen, the four-leaf and five-leaf fiber had high degree of profile at fiber cross section and clear groove at fiber cross section. By detecting their degree of profile, the result was the degree of profile of four-leaf five-leaf antibacterial deodorant polyester fiber was over 50%. Its antibacterial rate reached over 90% by test, satisfying dry antibacterial deodorant requirements.
