Comparison And Analysis Between European And American Silhouette Styles Of Men's Suit Jackets

There is a phenomenon that men's fashion market becoming larger and larger at home and abroad these years. It's natural that suits are deemed to be the core-competency of numbers of men's brands. Since modern suits of evolution in Europe over a hundred years, we should draw on more history and culture thereof as to get to know deeply about men's suits. And this study aim to compare and analyze the silhouette styles of suit jackets between in Europe and USA (Britain, Italy and American three regions).First of all, exploring the process and background of the entire evolution of modern suits is to reveal tangible and intangible factors underneath the various of silhouette styles; Then, summarize the culture of the three nations and list their national standard anthropometric measurements; In the fifth part, making the basic block patterns of three nations and calico toile, then, searching and comparing the measurement data of suit jackets of six typical brands, which is the experimental and direct way to show the virtual differences among the three silhouette styles.As a whole, the method of this study is not limited to investigate the silhouettes merely in apparent way, and also join with analysis of the nation culture, sample practicing and market searching, etc. Hope to assist the domestic fashion design.
