Characteristics Of The Shanghai Pudong New Area, Different Types Of Land Use Emissions Of Air Pollutants

Air pollution is one of the main environmental problems in China, various emissions from artificial pollution source, such as coal-burning, petroleum-burning, natural gas-burning and bio-fuel burning, in the process of which produce pollutants that cause important impact on the area and regional environmental quality.Shanghai Pudong new area is one of the fastest growing economies around the nation. According to statistics, there are nearly fourteen thousand pollution sources in this district, and pollution here is more serious. With its rapid economic development and accelerated progress of urbanization in recent years, the contradiction between environment and economic development become increasingly prominent. At present, there is still lack of the research of air pollutants emission characteristic based on the land-use type.In this study, based on the pollution source census of Pudong new area, in 2008, the paper selected 961 air pollution sources, and combined with the industry distribution of air pollutions, it calculated the air pollution emission factors through industry distribution.Put the air pollution sources into the GIS layer and establish the air pollutants layer. According to the Shanghai photo interpretation of remote sensing land use layers in 2007 and the construction land classification, the paper established the special layers of construction land for Pudong New Area. Overlap the two layers and analysis the industry distribution, value, pollutants, energy consumption of air pollutions based on various land use.Based on the calculated air pollution emission factors by industry, and combined with the industry distribution on every land use type, the paper calculated the air pollution emission and energy consumption factors unit area by industry on every land use type.Through the research of air pollutant emissions characteristics based on land use type, the paper established the unit area air pollution emission and energy consumption factors by industry on every land use type. The factors applied to the regional planning environmental assessment, planning implementation for regional air pollution emission inventory estimates more accurate.
