Research Of Distributed Control System For Petroleum Based On Plc

With the globalization of the world economy, especially with the entry to WTO, it is obvious that improving automatic level of oil delivery in the tank farm is urgent in the development of industry of petroleum.On this premise, the development of a new distributed control system for oil has become a top priority.At present, the programmable logic controller has been widely used in Automatic Oil System. This paper describes the design principles and overall structure of the Distributed Control System for Petroleum Based on PLC in detail.This system has the"centralized management, decentralized control"features of DCS. PLC makes great contribution to the system based on its easy to use, low failure rate and strong anti-interference. The composition of the whole system is scalability, reliability. Human-machine dialogue is simple. This system has a good feature of universal and extended.Chapter 1 introduces the development of the Automatic Oil System as well as major problems existing in our country. It well demonstrates the advantages of distributed control systems by comparing the centralized system and distributed control system. Chapter 2 describes the overall design of the system. In this chapter we introduce the two smaller subsystem-Actuator control system and safe monitoring system. Chapter 3 is Automatic refueling system. It is the most important part of this system. It describes the design concept, composition and realization of functions. Chapter 4 is mainly directed against the part of control system based on PLC including introduction of PLC, programming, network communication and field .equipment. The final chapter is a summary of system design and problems during this period.The system is already used in a tank in Jiangxi and it is running in good condition.
