This study is to determine the impregnation process and the optimum hot pressing technology of the parquet which has bumpy surface overlaying with melamine formaldehyde resin (MF) impregnated oak veneer on the Eucalyptus parquet, in order to provide the basic technology for the realization of the industrial production. The influence that the moisture content of oak veneer and the species of wood veneer on the impregnation and hot-pressing technology is studied. Through analyzing the resin content, volatile content, degree of procuring of the impregnated veneer and the dipping peel strength, surface bump texture depth of the orthogonal experiment specimens, get the following conclusions:(1) Impregnation process technology:The oak veneer is dipped in the mixed liquor which the mass ratio of melamine formaldehyde resin, curing agent, penetrating agent, release agents is 500:1:1:1. After dipping 5 min when the vacuum degree is 0.08 MPa, it keeps 30 min in room conditions. Then dry 10 min in drying oven with temperature is 90 ℃.(2) The optimum hot-pressing parameters of laminated with impregnated oak veneer: hot-pressing temperature is 150 ℃, hot-pressing pressure is 1.6 MPa, hot-pressing time is 70s.(3) When oak veneer is impregnated and hot-pressing covered on the Eucalyptus parquet, the moisture content of oak veneer is lower as possible on the basis of should choose in air-dried wood.(4) Choosing different species of wood veneer for impregnating and laminating to produce bumpy surface parquet, the impregnation process and hot pressing process technology need adjust depend on the effect of structure of wood veneer on resin impregnating content.
