Waste paper recycling have been paid attention to the papermaking enterprises around the world. Deinking agent is the main agent in the process of waste paper deinking. Therefore, the research and development of new waste paper deinking agent have a great significance to waste paper utilization. The main effective components of deinking agent are surface active agent, the current common deinking agent is mainly small molecule compounds. With the development of printing technology, ink’s fastness improved, which make it difficult to deinking, deinking effect become bad. Therefore research and development new type, high efficient deinking agent is one of the developing direction of waste paper deinking technology. Macromolecular surfactant has excellent emulsifying dispersion performance, which has good development prospect in deinking. The paper using sodium acrylic acid, N-long chain alkyl acrylamide, sulfonate as monomer, the synthesis and application in deinking of acrylic acid sodium-N-alkyl acrylamide-sulfonate ternary copolymer surfactant was researched.The concrete research is as follows:1. Acrylic acid sodium(AAS), N-dodecyl acrylamide(DAM) and allyl sulfonate(SAS) be used for monomers, synthesize AAS-DAM-SAS ternary copolymer surfactant by copolymerization reaction. Through the single factor experiment to determine the synthesis conditions when washing deinking performance was best, the main surface physical properties of the copolymer were tested, and deinking performance was compared with commercially available deinking agent.The results show that: when n(AAS) : n(DAM) : n(SAS) as 8:1:2, polymerization temperature is 80 ℃, reaction time is 6 h, the dosage of initiator to monomer mass is 3 %, AAS-DAM-SAS terpolymer has the best washing deinking effect, the paper whiteness was 67.1 %ISO, amount of residual ink was 48.84 mm2·m-2; minimum surface tension was 40.35 m N·m-1, emulsifying power was 50 s, number average molecular weight Mn to 22790; homemade copolymer in waste books paper deinking is better than commercial deinking agent.2. Acrylic acid sodium(AAS), N-octadecyl acrylamide(OAM) and methyl allyl sulfonate(SMAS) be used for monomers, synthesize AAS-OAM-SMAS ternary copolymer surfactant by free radical copolymerization reaction. The reaction conditions impact on the properties of copolymer washing deinking was researched; the main surface physical properties were tested; and deinking performance was compared with commercially available deinking agent.The results show that: when n(AAS) : n(OAM) : n(SMAS) as 12:1:2, polymerization temperature is 80 ℃, reaction time is 8 h, the dosage of initiator to monomer mass is 4 %, AAS-OAM-SMAS terpolymer has the best washing deinking effect, the paper whiteness was 66.0 %ISO, amount of residual ink was 53.47 mm2·m-2; minimum surface tension was 43.78 m N·m-1, emulsifying power was 47 s, number average molecular weight Mn to 29882; copolymer deinking agent washing deinking properties is better than commercial deinking agent.3. Acrylic acid sodium(AAS), N-octyl acrylamide(OYAM) and allyl sulfonate(SAS) be used for monomers, synthesize AAS-OYAM-SAS ternary copolymer surfactant by copolymerization reaction. The reaction conditions impact on the properties of copolymer washing deinking was researched; the main surface physical properties were tested; and washing deinking performance was compared with commercially available deinking agent.The results show that: when n(AAS) : n(OYAM) : n(SAS) as 10:1:2, polymerization temperature is 80 ℃, reaction time is 5 h, the dosage of initiator to monomer mass is 3%, AAS-OYAM-SAS terpolymer has the best washing deinking effect, the paper whiteness was 65.3% ISO, amount of residual ink was 58.31 mm2·m-2; minimum surface tension was 46.11 m N·m-1, emulsifying power was 42 s, number average molecular weight Mn to 26765; copolymer deinking agent washing deinking properties is better than commercial deinking agent.4. According to different products quality distribution, homemade series of copolymer surfactants were mixed with surfactant AEO-9(lauryl polyoxyethylene ether), AES(fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sodium sulfate), SDS(sodium dodecyl sulfate). The different mixture impact on washing deinking effect were researched.The results show that: when three kinds of copolymer(AAS-DAM-SAS、AAS-OAM-SMAS、AAS-OYAM-SAS) blends with AES, the deinking effect achieved the best degree; when its mix proportion with AES were respectively 1:0.2, 1:0.2, 1:0.1, the best deinking effect were 68.2 %ISO, 43.77 mm2·m-2; 67.2 %ISO, 48.27 mm2·m-2; 66.4 %ISO, 50.71 mm2·m-2.
