People always spend most of their time indoors, so indoor air quality directly relates to human health. As a result, we set up our aim to make clear the indoor air quality standards, take some and measures to improve the indoor air quality, and finaly provide a safe, healthy and comfortable environment for human beings, and improve the working efficiency and the quality of life of people working indoors.Firstly, this paper studies the classification target system of indoor air quality in civil buildings.5 pollutant indices with Chinese pollution characteristics are selected after a discussion on the indoor air quality standards of China, and have a comparison with the indoor and outdoor air quality standards of developed countries. Then, a series of three-standard evaluation criteria pointing at these 4 indices are put forward to guide the application of indoor air quality standards, and offer a constructive reference for further improvement of indoor air quality standards in China.Secondly, this paper adopts Computational Fluid Dynamics to simulate the concentration field of formaldehyde under different initial indoor concentrations of formaldehyde of both natural ventilation and fan coil unit plus fresh air system and the concentration field of PM2.5 under different outdoor concentration in a apartment with 3 rooms and 1 saloon. Some conclusions are drawn after analyzing the concentration field of these two pollutants, like, when the indoor concentration value of formaldehyde is larger than the standard value, while the outdoor concentration of PM2.5 is not, natural ventilation should be a better choice for eliminate the indoor formaldehyde, and when the outdoor concentration of PM2.5 exceed 185μg/m3, natura ventilation is not suitable. Finaly, the common impact of formaldehyde and PM2.5 on the indoor air quality are summarized, and a set of optimization strategies for indoor air quality that under pollution condition of formaldehyde and PM2.5 is put forward.
