Mixed production line of aluminum alloy windows,a typical multi varieties and small batch production mode,was studied in this paper. With increases in the cost of raw material and labor and the personalized needs of customers, Windows manufacturing industry competition is more intense, the enterprise survival more difficult. How to allocation of production resources reasonably for mixed production line running efficiently and orderly,is an important issue for enterprises. Taking the mixed production line of a aluminum alloy windows enterprise as the research object, using the digital factory tools to model the mixed production line. To improve the overall performance of aluminum windows mixed production line, research is mainly focused on the production line balancing optimization and mixed production sequence optimization.Firstly, the paper analysis production of aluminum windows simply, summarize the connotation and key technologies of digital factory used. This paper develops a basic simulation framework according to the structure and characteristics of the mixed production line.Secondly, the paper analysis an mixed production line of an aluminum windows company, determines simulation target, modeling principles of the simulation model, and collection and processing of data.Using the em-plant software to model the mixed production line of a aluminum alloy windows.Thirdly, after the simulation model has been validated,by designing simulation experiments,carry out the production line balancing analysis, comparative analysis mode of operation, bottleneck analysis and optimization of logistics and transport systems, etc.Finally, analyzes the mixed model production sequence and goals for the optimization.Then import GA tools in em-plant, set genetic algorithm. and optimizes the sequence of the orders in actual system.The research of this paper for the mixed model procduction line based on digital factory, has obtained good results in total completion time, average idle time rate of each station, the maximum number of products, and the performance indicators of mixed model procduction line have been improved.
