Mine hoist, as indispensable transportation equipment of mine production and as an one of large-scale equipment of coal mining enterprises, is responsible for putting on the coal mine and waste rock, it is also responsible for decentralization and the mention of production staffs and construction materials. It is safe operation is related to the whole mine’s normal production and life safety of staffs. Mine hoist machine running the process requires a close fit between the parts. Mine hoist’s normal operation requires between the various parts fit closely. During the operation of the mine hoist, the various parts of it must be fit closely, and all parts must be used normally, if component fails, it is likely to cause the paralysis of the entire hoisting system, which also makes the study of mine hoist have a very important practical significance.This topic focuses on hoisting machine with JKMD3.5 x 4 (III) E console multi rope friction as the research object. Firstly, the background and significance of the research, expounds present research situation and development trend of the fault monitoring and diagnosis system, introduces the mine hoisting system based on the classification and structure of the equipment at the same time, and analyzes the structure and parameters on various aspects to this article research object as the main part. Secondly, analyzes the application of the most common in intelligent control expert system and neural network in the application of the system fault monitoring and diagnosing, and put forward the analytic method of fuzzy fault tree as the method of improving the system fault diagnosis. At the same time, in order to improve the monitoring and fault diagnosis ability, establish the system fault tree by analyzing the failure types of improving system, the frequency and the influence factors of failure. And then display the failure condition in the upper machine fault tree after the system failures by making use of the characteristics of the fault tree graphics simply and clearly.Finally, focus on the analysis of the hoist braking system using fuzzy fault tree analysis method, and display the results of fault diagnosis on the upper display according to the cause of the problem importance sequence. From the application in other areas based on the fuzzy fault tree analysis method, it can be seen that the application of this diagnosis method on the ascent can improve the existing levels the monitoring and fault diagnosis of hoisting system. And it can also improve the effect and quality of diagnosis through to improve the system fault tree and the failure phenomenon and its reasons.
