Since sustainable development has been a global development strategy in twenty-first century,the technique of energy-saving and emission reduction and the establishment of cyclic economic system have become the theme of the development in the international community. In order to change the situation that mass production of regenerated polyester staple fiber is only applicable to the low end of the market, textile technique of the regeneration of polyester staple fiber should be inproved; besides, some new type of regenerated polyester staple fiber finishing agent shoud be developed. This paper aims to develop a new type of composite regenerated polyester staple fiber silicone finishing agent. It is designed to be used for high-end application of regenerated polyester staple fiber textile.The finishing agent will have a low cost and high performance, and it will replace imported products and fill the domestic blank in this field.The finishing agent is composed of D4, as raw material in microemulsions with ABS as the reaction catalyst and thiol coupling agent to produce sulfhydryl modification silicone; D4 with KOH as the catalyst ring opening hydrolysis generated hydroxyl silicone emulsion with amino coupling agent reaction of amino modified hydroxyl silicone. Through the study of finishing agent emulsifier formula, raw material ratio,reaction temperature and time, content, particle size, molecular weight and the stability of the emulsion, we got the production process.The thiol modified silicone and amino modified hydroxyl silicone are mixed in laboratory. Through the research of various indicators of regenerated polyester filament after treatment, this paper tries to determine the new production formula of regenerated polyester staple fibersilicone finishing agent.
